DEADLINE TO REGISTER AND ORDER T-SHIRT AND DOG TAGS  FEBRUARY 13TH

The Pledge to Run and Be Active program is a monitored 8-week program.  The students will be tested during the first week: height, weight, and body mass index (BMI).  Students in grades 3-5 will run/walk 1 mile.  Students in grades K-2 will run/walk 800 meters.  All information from this testing will be recorded.  During weeks 2-7, students will do a specific workout that is designed to help students in grades 3-5 complete a mile jogging and students in grades K-2 complete a 1/2 mile.  No student will be pushed beyond his or her limit.  All students will be allowed to walk or rest as needed.  At the end of the program, each student will receive a certificate of completion.

The program cost is $10 per child.  Students will receive a t-shirt and dog tag necklace.  This program will take place during school hours.

The pledges from this program will go directly to the student’s school and will be used to purchase equipment for student use.

Student raising the most money will earn signed NFL Jersey!!
